We’ve always believed in supporting organic growers and knew that it would help promote healthier soils and cleaner wines. We buy organic produce and other organic foods every day as a lifestyle choice.

It was recently where we learned that healthy soils, void of chemical residues and abundant in microorganisms, have the ability to be a climate solution.

From recent research, it is well understood that healthy soils draw in and regenerate legacy carbon from the atmosphere. So regenerative organic farming not only improves soil quality but it also makes cleaner air by clearing legacy carbons.

It is estimated that even a 1% conversion to regenerative farming can have a 10 ton reduction in legacy carbon. This was huge for us because it provides an action plan to provide a positive impact. We feel, together with our customers, we can make a real difference and do something to improve the health of our planet.

We are very conscious of our impact on the environment and every decision we make has this in mind. Our model is to offer wines from all around the world, and we ship those wines either in larger volume reusable or recyclable containers, that come to our winery in CA and then are bottled there. By shipping the wines this way we are able to maximize the space on a shipping container and get almost twice the amount on it compared to bottled wines. 

On dry materials, when given the option to go with something that may look more premium, but becomes a less environmentally conscious proposition, we always err on the side of our minimizing this impact…We chose lighter weight American made glass bottles instead of heavier, but lower cost, more premium looking bottles that come from overseas. This greatly reduces the carbon footprint from producer to winery to consumer. We have opted to use cork closures with no capsules covering the top of our bottles, using a natural renewable source for closure and minimizing materials compared to metal screw caps or synthetic corks and unnecessary foils. The labels on the bottles are produced from sugar cane, linen and hemp (single season crops compared to paper made from forestry sources). Our shipping packaging is ultra sleek and minimalist, uses materials that ensure a safe arrival at our customers doorstep from SFI certified (forests.org) corrugated, and is curbside recyclable. Our marketing and POS materials use recyclable material that also is printed with vegetable inks.

UPS may be requested as the shipping service as well, just shoot us an email or text after you order.

All orders less than 6 bottles have flat rate shipping charges added: 1-2 bottles is $20 and 3-5 bottles ordered receives a $5 discount off flat rate ($15 total). Express 2-day shipping may also be selected at checkout and the cart will update automatically for the charges based on the weight of the package.

Please track your shipment first from the courier info provided on your email confirmations.

This will tell you if it was delivered and who may have signed for it. Sometimes a family member or neighbor may sign for it and have your package!

UPS or FedEx will make another attempt the next day.

Please remember, since its alcohol there must be someone over the age of 21 present to sign for your wine delivery.

If you are unable to meet the driver after the third attempt, the box will be sent back to our winery.

So please make sure you send your shipment to an address where a person over 21 will be there to sign!

Currently we are able to ship to 40 states shown below, with a few more on the way. We have every intention to add more states in the future and please feel free to reach out to us if you live in a state not shown and would like to receive our wine!

First, the wines need to be made with grapes grown on certified organic vineyards and made without animal products (for fining).

We look for smaller growers, family-owned properties who are connected to their land – then partner with them to craft our wines.

We don’t partner with large scale industrial growers or huge cooperatives. We need to know exactly where the wine comes from and how it was grown.

Our selections have to over-deliver on quality and represent the unique sense of place where it comes from.

We want to tell a story so our customers have a true global wine experience. 

Our wines are very low in sulfur, but not 100% sulfur-free. All wines have some amounts of sulfur that come in naturally on the grape skins and are a byproduct of fermentation.

Sulfur can also be added to wines in order to be sure that it is stable and free of those pesky cooties that can make your wines taste funky. The federal government allows wines made with organic grapes to have low levels of sulfur.

Our wines contain very low levels, roughly half the amount of sulfur most conventional wines have.

Oh, and regarding the headache myth on sulfur in wine, experts agree that this is related more to alcohol and sugar (so watch out for those high ABV fruit bombs!).

What most don’t even realize is the dried fruit in your breakfast cereal contains far more sulfur than any wines!

They are kind of close! The category of “wine made with organic grapes” is allowed to have up to 100 ppm of sulfur added to the wines. Sulfur has been added to wines for generations in order to help with stability and aging.

Organic wine labeled with a USDA seal cannot have any sulfur added. Interestingly the European Union and many other areas allow sulfur in “organic wines.” Other than making sure we deliver the best quality wine directly to your door in the condition the winemaker intended, Kind of Wild is most interested in how our wines are grown and how we are impacting the environment.

All of our wines are certified organic by international agencies as well as the CCOF and certified vegan by BeVeg.

Yes! You can amend your subscription details at any time by changing the specific wines to ship and/or the frequency of shipments.

Our recommendation is to start with the mixed six pack for the first shipment, then specify based on your likes and needs for future shipments. 

Once you complete the club sign up you will be directed to a page where you can select the wines you want shipped by clicking “Adjust Your Shipment.” 

Two weeks before each subsequent shipment you will receive an email for the upcoming shipment, directing you to log in and build your box.

You can also login in to your member dashboard at any time if you’d like to pause/skip the next shipment.

Yes, just sign up for Club Wild and after checkout click “Adjust Your Shipment” where you can select specific wines you wish to receive.

You can also build each subsequent box you receive exactly how you want it; an email will come 2 weeks prior to prompt you to edit/build the shipment to your preferences.

Yes! Just be sure you are logged in under the credentials for your Club Wild membership, and any Shop purchases you make will have your member 23% off discounts applied to each bottle!

Once you login (upper right side in website header), it will take you to your account dashboard where you can see all of your activity and preferences. Under “Club Memberships” you can view and edit your preferences for your subscription.

Yes! There are a few ways to handle this…

Our membership defaults to bi-monthly shipments and you can adjust to every 3 months if this is preferred.

If this option does not work you may also pause/skip shipments.
